Two Movies for Deathly Hallows

It's been known for a while now, but I wanted to post it here nevertheless.

"BURBANK, CA, MARCH 12, 2008 - Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that the screen adaptation of J.K. Rowling's final book in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released in two parts. The announcement was made by Jeff Robinov, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Group." [read more]

I think its a good decision. The book has constant action and it would be very difficult to cut parts without affecting the events line. Also good for Warner Brothers of course but I'm sure the fans are happy with the idea.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard

The Tales of Beedle the Bard are about to be published for the general public.

After a limited edition of only seven copies handwritten and illustrated by J. K. Rowling, it is time for the rest of the fans to know the remaining tales of Beedle. Sure you are familiar with "The Tale of the Three Brothers" but what about "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot"? Or "The Fountain of Fair Fortune" and "The Warlock's Hairy Heart"? And what about the "Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump"? Promising titles.

The book comes in two editions and both will be available on December the 4th. The Colector's Edition is an exclusive of Amazon. And from the Amazon website we can read:

"Designed to evoke the spirit of the handcrafted original, the luxuriously packaged Collector's Edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard features a reproduction of J.K. Rowling's handwritten introduction, metalwork and clasp, and replica gemstones--and is exclusively available from Amazon. The Collector's Edition also includes 10 new illustrations by J.K. Rowling and a velvet bag embroidered with Rowling's signature. (Available in limited quantities.) Net proceeds* from the sale support the Children's High Level Group"

I'm sure it will be a nice reading. The best thing will be going back to the wizarding world of Harry once again.
